In July 2025, the Strasbourg Eurometropolis, which includes 32 surrounding municipalities, received the Towns and Lands of Art and History<\/b> distinction from the Regional Commission for Heritage and Architecture. Granted to Strasbourg in 2014, the label now extends to the entire Eurometropolis, <\/b>a ten-year distinction recognising the area\u2019s rich heritage!<\/b><\/p>\n

This label highlights<\/b> the tourism appeal of the surrounding towns<\/b>, adding to Strasbourg\u2019s already rich offering.<\/p>\n

Getaways just minutes from Strasbourg<\/b><\/h2>\n

A stone’s throw from the capital of Alsace, these towns and villages<\/b> are brimming with cultural heritage and natural riches to explore during a professional event in Strasbourg<\/b>.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Explore the picturesque villages<\/b> of Plobsheim, Holtzheim, Blaesheim, and Entzheim with their half-timbered houses and farms<\/b>. Many of the towns boast remarkable heritage, like Eschau and its abbey church built in 996<\/b>, one of the oldest preserved religious buildings in Alsace!
