In Colmar and nearby – Eguisheim, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr – 16 hotels hold this prestigious Green Key, including L’Esquisse Hotel & Spa, Mercure Colmar Centre Unterlinden Hotel, Ibis Styles Colmar Nord, and Greet Hotel Colmar. The Colmar Convention Bureau designs tailor-made business events with sustainability in mind, in partnership with ISO 20121 certified service providers. This internationally recognised standard for sustainable event management helps organisations incorporate environmental responsibility into event planning.
In Colmar, two major venues have this certification since January 2026: Espace Auguste and the Colmar Convention and Exhibition Centre. This recognition is a real asset for hosting professional events, underlining the sustainability commitments of both venues.
In 2025, they hosted numerous events:
- Espace Auguste: 8,486 visitors and 103 events, 66% were general assemblies, conferences, congresses, meetings, and seminars.
- Colmar Convention and Exhibition Centre: 705,576 visitors, 146 events, 27% were general assemblies, seminars, and congresses.
