The actively developing Fonderie district brings together everything you need for a tailor-made reception to your professional events. Just a stone’s throw from Mulhouse’s city centre, the district fosters an ambitious atmosphere that includes startups, students, and researchers.

A 5-minute bike ride from the TGV train station and 20 minutes from Basel-Mulhouse International Airport, the Fonderie district continues its transformation through 2025.
The objective is to breathe new life into this former industrial site with more green spaces, reduced traffic, and direct access to both the campus and the park along the banks of the Ill River.
At the heart of the district is the Kunsthalle contemporary art centre and the students of the University of Haute-Alsace. Nearby is an immense hall with a rich, 200-year-old history: the building housed the Alsatian Mechanical Engineering Company (SACM), which became Alstom in 1998. The rehabilitated red-brick building is now home to KMØ, an 11,500-m² innovation centre dedicated to industrial digital transformation and equipped to host all your professional events. Why KMØ? Because ‘Kilometre Zero’ is the focal point of Mulhouse: a nod to the SACM, a symbol of innovation in the 19th century set at the start of Europe’s first international railway line.

KMØ, an innovation centre for your professional events
This vast ‘coffee machine’ is home to more than 70 companies from France, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland, along with a fab lab and an incubator. It also houses several digital training centres, including the innovative Ecole 42 Mulhouse that teaches coding to young people from the age of 18.
Four event spaces, for a total area of 812 m² in a neo-industrial style, can accommodate up to 655 guests. More specifically, KMØ offers two 72-m² conference rooms with a capacity of 60 people each, an 86-m² Inter Colloquium space for social events (80 people), a 129-m² amphitheatre for 74 people, as well as a comfortable and modular 400-m² hall for up to 400 people.

A chef’s cuisine, healthy and flavourful
The adjoining restaurant Le Pantographe is also available to adapt to your needs. Whether for boxed meals, lunch in the dining room, or cocktails, Muriel and Étienne serve healthy and bold cuisine using fresh and seasonal ingredients. The chef, with experience from renowned establishments such as Le Relais Bernard Loiseau and Jean-Paul Jeunet in Arbois, will tantalize your taste buds for a friendly moment among colleagues.
For your accommodations, the Apart’Hôtel Lagrange is located nearby in the Fonderie district and offers 81 rooms including 54 apartments, an indoor swimming pool, and a sauna for relaxation.
